FAQ
What happens in therapy?
For each individual that enters therapy, I want to obtain a thorough understanding of your social, emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual functioning. I believe that all of these aspects of a person are interrelated, and if unbalanced, will affect the way individuals function in their lives.
What do I do if I am intrested in making an appointment?
Please call my office at 408-866-8570 and we will do a phone interview, to determine if my services are appropriate for what you are seeking.
How long are therapy sessions?
The first session is 1 hour. Thereafter, sessions are 50 minutes. This is what most insurances will cover.
FAQ
Why adults seek therapy?
I believe that most adults begin therapy because they desire some type of change, understanding, or personal growth in their lives. I see counseling as an avenue to help you achieve your personal psychological goals. I find that many individuals who seek counseling and very aware of WHAT their problems are, however, they are STUCK in the problem and are unable to move into the solution.
Adolescents
I see many adolescents who are having difficulties. I work closely with the parents of adolescents to provide support in coping with their issues.
